High dpi isn't as important as high quality content. 1 How to decrease noise 23-01-2018, 01:44 AM Hi How to decrease noise in Rhino/Vray renderings (If I remember right, there was that certain button.). ![]() (Don't forget post processing via photoshop, it also helps a lot.)Īs you see this is (in my opinion not such an easy question to answer)ĭon't render yourself to death. And for final render, maximum of 16 hours if you want to run it overnight and come back the next day with a finished rendering. What I go for is a 30 minute render time for studies and Sketches on a daily basis max. However, a lot of tiny objects, unnecessary elements in the scene(complex objects far away) can bost up the render time by a lot.Īlso, you might want to disable 2 thread under the task manager to still be able to use other programs meanwhile, because your render will inevitably slow down your pc during render times. If you have time and you have a complex scene set up, and let's say it is crucial to have all the reflections, grass and detailed turned on as it is, well then go for that 24hour rendering with high presets and a 9000x5000 resolution (good for a pictures size A1). ![]() It also depends on the hardware you have, and the scene you are rendering. Printers can do upto 600 or even 1200 dpi, however you literally need to be a few millimeters away from it to see the difference. Everything over 300 dpi is kind of a waste of computational power. ![]()
